Welcome to another edition of Cute Corner!

Isn’t 2016 flying by? It’s hard to believe summer is just around the corner already. We’re reluctant to say goodbye to spring as our dogs and cute pups love playing in and smelling all the gorgeous flowers. (As well as making the most of the puddles left by April showers!)

So in this month’s Cute Corner, we’ve taken a look back at our cute pups enjoying the spring flowers. Enjoy!

Take a sneak peek at the puppy training that has taken place at Hearing Dogs this month.

Our puppy socialising volunteers and dog trainers work really hard to make sure our puppies learn the necessary skills and behaviours that make a great hearing dog.

This month, you can see hearing dog puppy Rocko practising his sound work, eight-week old Fraser exploring the garden and Buffy being introduced to the dreaded hoover…

How do our cute playful pups become amazing hearing dogs? A lot of it is down to the work of our wonderful socialising volunteers who look after our pups during their first year.

Below you can see how well Zorro settles (he’s the brother of Zara, one of our cute sponsor pups whom you can sponsor), how good Finlay is at impulse control, and see how Jessie, Polly and a whole group of lovely Labs enjoy being out and about.

Rachel Riley is the first to admit she’ll say yes to almost anything for a cuddle with a puppy. So with the help of four month old Cockerpoo Bilbo and demonstration dog Scout, we lured Rachel to the National Trust’s Osterley Park in Isleworth to help Hearing Dogs’ national events manager Mel Tyrer recce the route ahead of the Great British Dog Walk to be held there in June.

Whilst puppy Bilbo was too young to be walking the route this time, hearing dog Scout lead the way and with a Go Pro strapped to his harness even managed to help out with some of the filming – and gave us a dog’s eye view of the path!
